Accounts Assistant

Your new roleAs an Accounts Assistant, you will support the finance function by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. This is a varied role involving purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank reconciliations, credit notes, and general finance administration.Key responsibilities include:Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficientlyMatching invoices against purchase orders and supporting documentationInvestigating and resolving invoice discrepancies with suppliers and internal stakeholdersReconciling supplier statements and maintaining accurate supplier accountsAssisting with weekly payment runs and month-end processesManaging supplier queries in a professional and timely mannerRaising customer invoices and credit notes as requiredAllocating customer receipts and processing incoming paymentsReconciling customer accounts and monitoring outstanding balancesCompleting bank reconciliations and resolving unreconciled itemsAssisting with cash allocations and monitoring customer receiptsMaintaining accurate digital recordsSupporting the wider business with ad hoc administrative tasks when required.What you''ll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience working within a finance or accounts environment and be confident managing both purchase and sales ledger activities.You will also have:Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance roleKnowledge of purchase ledger and sales ..... full job details .....
