The Role

As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the finance department, ensuring financial records are maintained accurately and transactions are processed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing supplier invoices and payments
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Completing bank reconciliations
• Supporting credit control activities
• Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
• Processing expenses and cash transactions
• Assisting with billing queries and financial administration
• Using accounting software, including Xero
• Supporting finance compliance procedures
• Providing administrative support to the wider finance team

About You

We''re keen to speak with candidates who:

• Have previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Bookkeeping or similar finance role
• Possess strong attention to detail and excellent numerical accuracy
• Are confident using Excel and accounting systems
• Have good organisational and time management skills
• Can effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Are motivated to build a long-term career within finance
