Accounts Assistant Solihull Up to £30,000 Hybrid - 2 Days in the Office Permanent Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant who genuinely enjoys transactional finance and is looking for a stable, varied role within a busy and friendly finance team? We are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a well-established business based in Solihull. This is a fast-paced and varied transactional finance position, ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, likes having plenty to do and is looking for a long-term role within a sociable and supportive team. Key Responsibilities Processing and raising both purchase and sales ledger invoices Bank and account reconciliations Resolving invoice and payment queries Making payments via BACS, CHAPS, Faster Payments Maintaining accurate finance records Supporting the wider finance team during busy periods What We''re Looking For Previous experience within an Accounts Assistant or transactional finance role Strong attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable working within a busy, fast-paced environment Organised with the ability to manage competing priorities A positive, hands-on approach and someone who enjoys being part of a team Please note: This role won''t suit someone studying ACCA/CIMA or looking to progress with chartership, as there isn''t a development path into a qualified role; it''s best suited to someone who genuinely enjoys transactional finance and is looking for a stable, varied role long term.
