I''m currently working with a well-established business based in Bury St Edmunds who are looking to bring an Accounts Assistant into their finance team. The role will involve:

• Processing invoices and maintaining accurate purchase and sales ledgers

• Assisting with reconciliations and month-end tasks

• Supporting the preparation of management accounts

• Handling supplier and customer queries

• General finance administration as required

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in an accounts assistant or similar finance role

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

• Confident communication skills, both written and verbal

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software

• A proactive and organised approach to work
