Description

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including data entry and reconciliations.
• Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.
• Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable tasks.
• Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other compliance requirements.
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Provide support during audits and resolve queries as needed.
• Maintain organised financial documentation and filing systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to address financial queries and issues.

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

• Experience in basic accounting tasks such as Accounts Payable (Purchase Ledger).
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• A proactive approach to resolving financial discrepancies.
• Knowledge of VAT processes and compliance requirements.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a finance team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
