Accounts Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join a well-established, family-run business. This permanent role offers the opportunity to work within a small finance team, managing the Purchase Ledger while providing support across Sales Ledger, administration, and compliance.
This is a standalone role, ideal for someone with strong transactional experience, high attention to detail, and excellent organisational skills. The successful candidate will be confident handling a variety of invoices, from everyday purchases to large-scale projects.
What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?
- Managing end-to-end purchase ledger processing.
- Conducting supplier statement reconciliations.
- Assisting with the preparation of the payment run.
- Managing the sales ledger and credit control responsibilities.
Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy:
- Past experience in a similar role.
- Basic excel skills - ability to manipulate data.
- Highly organised with great attention to detail.
