Accounts Assistant (Hybrid Working)WatfordUp to £34k plus bonus and benefits We are working with a leading residential housebuilder who is looking to appoint an Accounts Assistant to join their established finance team due to continued growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounts professional to secure a stable role within a well-regarded business in the housebuilding and construction sector. The Role: Reporting into the Finance Manager, the Accounts Assistant will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day finance function, including: Processing transactions using double-entry bookkeeping Purchase and sales ledger duties Bank reconciliations and month-end support Producing reports and analysis using Excel, including pivot tables Assisting with cost reporting across developments General finance administration and ad-hoc duties The Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role Strong understanding of double-entry accounting Confident Excel user, including pivot tables Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Desirable: Experience using COINS accounting software (advantageous but not essential) Background within construction, housebuilding, or a related industry What s on Offer: Competitive salary, dependent on experience Permanent role with a respected housebuilder Hybrid working 2 days from home Supportive finance team and positive working ..... full job details .....
