Accounts Assistant
Blue Arrow is looking for an organised and motivated Account Assistant to join their client''s team based at Daviot, Inverness. This is a key role supporting procurement, supplier management, and weekly payroll functions within the business. Key Responsibilities:Manage full procurement of goods and services, including plant hire, from approved suppliersWork closely with the purchasing teamObtain competitive quotations to ensure cost-effective purchasingGain approval for purchases above authorised limitsResolve supplier issues relating to quality and serviceLiaise with internal staff to ensure delivery deadlines are metSource and assess alternative goods and services when requiredEnter all purchase orders into Dynamics at the time of orderingProcess delivery notes and chase outstanding documentationPrepare weekly payroll and wages, ensuring accurate timesheets, spreadsheets, and pension submissionsAssist with general administrative tasks as requiredRespond to day-to-day business requests in a friendly and professional mannerAdhere to Health and Safety guidelines and company policiesUndertake ad-hoc duties as requiredRequirements:Strong administrative and organisational skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesExperience in procurement, payroll, or administration preferredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProactive and flexible approachRight to work in the UKWhat We Offer:Competitive salary (dependent on experience)Supportive team ..... full job details .....
