Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Bath, who are actively looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join the team on a permanent basisWhat you will be doing:The Account Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting the accounting team.Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying invoices, coding expenses, and preparing payments.Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.Assist with month-end closing procedures.Prepare financial reports and analysis as needed.Provide support to the accounting team as required.What you will need to succeed:Understanding of accounts payable processes.Strong attention to detail and good numeracy skillsExcellent organisational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.What you will receive in return:CompetitiveMonday to Friday - 35 hour per weekSupport for AAT trainingGenerous Holiday allowance.Career progression and investment in trainingWhat you need to do next:If this position sounds of interest and you would like to be considered.
