Accounts AssistantUpto £30,000 depending upon experience Remote work, ideally to live near ReadingFull time Permanent 09:00 - 17:00Do you have experience working on the Purchase Ledger?Do you have key eye for detail?Attega Group is working on behalf of our client as their in-house recruitment provider.We are currently recruiting for a Accounts Assistant to join their team.The main purpose of this Accounts Assistant role is to support the finance team across purchase ledger, payments,payroll and reconciliations, making sure every supplier invoice is recorded accurately,approved correctly and paid on timeIn return, our client is offering a salary of up to £30,000 P/A, depending on experience.Company benefits also include: 25 days'' annual leave plus bank holidaysCompany pension schemeStaff events This role is full-time and permanent. The hours of work will be typically Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00.Reporting to the Head of Finance your responsibilities will include: Receive, check and post supplier invoices and credit notes to Xero accurately andpromptly.Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve price or quantity discrepancies.Code invoices to the correct nominal accounts and projects, applying the correct VATtreatment, including the domestic reverse charge where it applies.Route invoices for approval and chase outstanding approvals.Act as the first point of contact for supplier queries by phone and email.Investigate and resolve payment, remittance and invoice queries ..... full job details .....
