Accounts Assistant

Apricus Resourcing is a specialist recruitment agency providing high-quality temporary staffing solutions within the health and social care sector. We are a growing business with a strong reputation for reliability and service, and we are now looking to strengthen our internal finance function as we scale.

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to support the day-to-day financial operations of the business on a part-time basis (15 hours per week).

This role is ideal for someone looking for part-time working hours, with the opportunity to grow alongside the business. As Apricus Resourcing continues to expand, there is clear potential for this position to develop into a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing purchase invoices and reconciling supplier statements
• Assisting with weekly payroll coordination (including liaison with umbrella companies)
• Raising and issuing client invoices
• Credit control and monitoring aged debt
• Bank reconciliations
• Maintaining accurate financial records and spreadsheets
• Supporting month-end processes and reporting
• Assisting with general administrative and finance tasks as required
• Maintaining VAT Records

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in an accounts or finance role (preferred)
• Familiarity with accounting software Xero
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Confident communication skills
