Accounts Assistant Chartered Accountants Full-Time Hybrid An excellent opportunity has arisen for a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join a well-established and growing Chartered Accountancy practice based in Preston.This position would suit an experienced Accounts Assistant or Bookkeeper looking to develop within a professional and supportive environment, gaining exposure across a varied portfolio of clients and industries.The successful Accounts Assistant will support the preparation of management accounts, bookkeeping, VAT returns, reconciliations, and general finance administration, whilst working closely with senior accountants and managers.Key ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping for a varied client portfolioPreparing and submitting VAT returnsBank reconciliations and ledger maintenanceAssisting with management accounts preparationProcessing purchase and sales ledger transactionsSupporting month-end processes and reportingLiaising with clients regarding financial information and queriesMaintaining accurate accounting records and financial dataAbout YouPrevious experience within a bookkeeping or Accounts Assistant roleExperience working within an accountancy practice would be advantageousStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsConfident using Excel and accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooksExcellent communication skills and a professional approachPositive attitude with a willingness to learn and developThis is an excellent opportunity for an ..... full job details .....
