This role would suit someone with 2-3 years'' experience in practice, ideally studying towards ACA or ACCA, who is keen to build on their experience across accounts, tax, and potentially audit.Accounts Assistant ResponsibilitiesPreparation of statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clients including SMEs, owner-managed businesses, partnerships, and sole tradersAssisting with the completion of audits (where applicable), gaining exposure across the full audit cyclePreparation of corporation tax computations and supporting schedulesPreparation and submission of VAT returnsAssisting with management accounts and ad hoc financial reportingLiaising directly with clients, responding to queries and building strong working relationshipsSupporting and mentoring junior members of the team where appropriateWorking closely with managers and partners to ensure deadlines and client ..... full job details .....
