      <description>Location: City | Salary: 31000.00-31000.00 Annual | Type: Permanent | Job Title: Accounts Assistant (CIS experience essential) Salary: Up to £33,000 (negotiable dependant on experience and qualifications already achieved) Location: Derby Type: Permanent, Full-Time, Office-Based An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a well-established and growing construction business. You ll play a key role within the finance team, supporting the day-to-day accounts function, including invoice processing, VAT, CIS and payroll. Responsibilities  Process purchase and subcontractor invoices for construction projects Raise sales/customer invoices Process payroll and subcontractor payments Prepare and submit CIS returns and VAT returns Ensure compliance with HMRC and construction industry regulations Support month-end and year-end accounting processes Provide wider support to the finance team and contribute to ad hoc finance tasks as required  Requirements  Experience working as an Accounts Assistant or similar role Previous experience working within the construction sector Strong working knowledge of Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) processes Good Excel skills A hardworking individual with a strong work ethic Ability to work i...</description>
