Accounts and Tax Senior

A long standing accountancy firm that specialises in the SME marketplace are seeking to recruit an Accounts / Tax Specialist to provide a broad range of services for a diverse portfolio of clients across a variety of industries. Your role will include:Manage a portfolio of SME Ltd companies, sole traders, private individual clients including HNWIs and partnerships - delivering a range of accounting and taxation servicesPreparing and submitting year end statutory accounts and Corporation Tax ReturnsAll aspects of bookkeeping through to Management accountsProfit and Loss; Balance Sheet preparationCapital Gains Tax reporting and adviceAdvising on tax efficiency for income from multiple sources: employment, rental properties, dividends, capital gains, pensions and overseas incomeSelf-Assessment returnsEnsure all deadlines are met and filings are submitted on timeThe desired candidate will have a strong background in preparing company accounts with a sound technical understanding of financial statements, accompanied by a good knowledge of tax. Qualifications are not essential but a level of academic knowledge within accounting is advantageous. You will be an excellent communicator building solid relationships with a portfolio of clients and showing value to them through a proactive approach.
