Tax and Accounts Manager Location: Harrow Job Type: Permanent, Full-time We are recruiting on behalf of an established accountancy practice seeking an experienced Tax and Accounts Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice professional looking for a broad, client-facing position covering statutory accounts, Corporation Tax and Personal Tax/Self Assessment. The successful candidate will manage a varied portfolio of limited companies, owner-managed businesses and individual clients, taking responsibility for accounts and tax compliance while developing strong relationships with clients. The Role As Tax and Accounts Manager, your responsibilities will include: Managing a portfolio of limited companies, owner-managed businesses and personal tax clients. Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for limited companies. Preparing accounts for sole traders and partnerships. Preparing and reviewing Corporation Tax computations and CT600 returns. Preparing and reviewing Personal Tax/Self Assessment returns for directors, shareholders, sole traders, landlords and other individuals. Calculating tax liabilities and ensuring clients are advised of relevant payment and filing deadlines. Identifying tax planning opportunities for clients. Dealing with HMRC correspondence and routine enquiries. Liaising with Companies House where required.
