Role: • Prepare weekly and monthly payrolls for a varied portfolio of clients • Liaise with clients to obtain payroll information and resolve payroll-related queries • Issue payroll reports, notify clients of PAYE liabilities, and manage pension administration processes • Set up and close payroll schemes with HMRC and resolve payroll compliance matters • Carry out bookkeeping duties for allocated clients • Prepare and submit VAT returns • Prepare accounts to Trial Balance stage for review • Assist with year-end accounts preparation and related financial reporting tasks • Support clients with accounting software queries and day-to-day financial matters • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations • Manage multiple client deadlines while delivering a high standard of service Requirements: • Previous experience working within an accountancy practice • AAT qualified or currently studying towards AAT, ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA, or a similar accounting qualification • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, VAT, and payroll pro...
