Accounts / Credit Controller Location: Heathrow Salary: £27,000-£30,000 Type: Permanent Industry: Freight Forwarding / Logistics The Role We''re working with an established freight forwarder who are looking for an Accounts / Credit Controller to join their team. You''ll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounts function, with a particular focus on credit control, invoicing and keeping customer accounts up to date. Key Responsibilities Managing customer accounts and chasing outstanding payments Raising and processing invoices and credit notes Allocating payments and keeping account records accurate Handling customer queries relating to invoices and payments Following up overdue accounts and maintaining aged debt reports Supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day accounts duties Liaising with internal operations and customers to resolve discrepancies Ensuring financial records are kept accurate and up to date About You Previous experience in accounts, credit control or a similar finance role Experience within freight forwarding, logistics or a related industry would be advantageous Sage experience preferred Confident communicating with customers and colleagues Strong attention to detail and organisation Comfortable working to deadlines and managing your own workload Good Excel and general IT skills What''s on Offer £27,000-£30,000 salary 20 days holiday + statutory, then increasing by 1 day a year after 5 years.
