Accounts and Audit Trainee

Your new companyA well-established and growing accountancy practice providing audit, accounts, tax and business advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from owner-managed businesses to larger corporate organisations. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an ambitious Accounts and Audit Trainee to join their friendly and supportive team.Your new roleAs an Accounts and Audit Trainee, you will receive full training and support whilst working across a varied client portfolio. Responsibilities will include:Assisting with the preparation of year-end statutory accounts.Supporting audit assignments both on-site and remotely.Preparing bank reconciliations and working papers.Assisting with bookkeeping and management accounts.Preparing VAT returns and other compliance work.Liaising with clients to obtain information and documentation.Working closely with senior team members and managers to develop technical knowledge and professional skills.What you''ll need to succeedYou will be motivated individuals who:Have strong A-Level, BTEC or degree-level qualifications.Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Are highly organised with strong attention to detail.Have good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.Demonstrate enthusiasm for a career within accountancy and audit.Are keen to study towards a professional qualification (AAT/ACA/ACCA).This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in accountancy while gaining ..... full job details .....
