Job Title: Accounts and Audit Semi-Senior Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: 28,000 - 34,000 depending on experience About the Role We are seeking a motivated Semi-Senior Accountant to join our growing Accounts and Audit team based in Shrewsbury. This role is ideal for someone with prior practice experience who is looking to take the next step in their career, with opportunities for development and progression. Key Responsibilities Preparing year-end accounts for a range of clients (sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies) Assisting on the Audits for a range of clients and industries Preparing management accounts, VAT returns, and bookkeeping Assisting with tax computations and returns Liaising with clients to obtain necessary information and resolve queries Supporting senior staff with ad-hoc assignments and advisory work Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations Skills and Experience At least 2 years of experience in an Accountancy Practice Studying towards ACA, or AAT Level 4 (part-qualified or qualified by experience considered) Audit experience desirable Strong knowledge of accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) Client centred approach, confident with client contact Benefits 28,000 - 34,000 depending on experience Study support is available for ACA Ongoing training and career progression ..... full job details .....
