Accounts and Administration Assistant
We are currently recruiting for an Accounts and Administration Assistant to join our client on an initial 12-month maternity cover contract, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with accounts experience who is looking to join a supportive business and develop their career. There is genuine potential for progression, as there may be future opportunities to take on additional responsibilities within the finance function.Your duties will include:Purchase Ledger processingSales Ledger administrationRaising and processing invoicesBanking and bank reconciliationsAnswering incoming telephone callsGeneral office administration dutiesMaintaining accurate financial recordsSupporting the wider finance and administration team as requiredWe are looking for someone who:Has previous accounts and/or administration experienceCan start as soon as possibleHas strong organisational and communication skillsIs comfortable answering phones and dealing with customer enquiriesCan work accurately and efficiently in a busy office environmentHas a positive and proactive approach to workExperience using Opera would be advantageous, although full training can be provided.What you''ll get in return:35-hour working weekWeekly pay20 days holiday plus Bank HolidaysGenerous pension scheme (5% employee/5% employer contribution)Fully equipped staff canteenPotential for a permanent position following the maternity cover ..... full job details .....
