This is a really varied role, ideal for someone with accountancy practice experience who enjoys working across accounts, bookkeeping, VAT and tax and having regular contact with clients. The role will involve: Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies Preparing personal and/or business tax returns, depending on experience Monthly bookkeeping for a varied portfolio of clients Sales and purchase ledger processing Bank and credit card reconciliations Journals, accruals, prepayments and depreciation Preparing VAT returns Liaising directly with clients and helping to ensure deadlines are met Supporting new client onboarding and wider practice activities Identifying opportunities to improve processes and client service They’re open to candidates at different stages of their career .
