Are you a Bookkeeper, Accounts Assistant or Accounts Administrator looking for a permanent role in a friendly, hands-on business where you will be properly looked after, supported with training in bookkeeping where needed, and given a stable Monday to Friday working week?

This is a permanent position with a well-established, growing property developer where you will receive support to strengthen your bookkeeping knowledge, while taking ownership of day-to-day accounts and admin duties across live residential projects.

This company deliver bespoke new-build homes and refurbishment projects, typically completing 15-20 units per year. They are known for being a close-knit team where everyone is involved in the wider business, and due to continued growth they are now looking to add to their office support function.

In this role you will be responsible for purchase and sales invoices, supplier payments, VAT and payroll administration, speaking with suppliers and clients, and supporting monthly meetings around project budgets.

This is a great opportunity for a Bookkeeper / Accounts Administrator looking for a secure, long-term role with hybrid working, a supportive team, and the chance to build confidence and capability in a hands-on finance position.

The Role:

• Purchase and sales invoices and supplier payment processing
• VAT returns and payroll administration
• Speaking with suppliers, clients and internal stakeholders
• Supporting monthly budget meetings for live projects

The Person:

• Experience in an accounts / bookkeeing position (construction industry ideal)
• AAT Level 2 qualification minimum
• VAT and payroll experience
• Full UK driving licence
