Accounts Assistant (Hybrid - Norwich)Temporary (3-6 months initially)Location: Hybrid working - Norwich Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:30)Hourly rate: c£13.00-£13.25 (depending on experience)The OpportunityJoin a fast-paced finance team during an exciting period of change and transformation. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records while supporting improvements to systems and processes.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and allocate customer payments, including direct debits, card, and bank transfersIssue and manage refunds and credit notesRaise invoices across accountsReconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepanciesMonitor outstanding balances and support credit control activitiesAssist with daily bank reconciliations and month-end tasksRespond to payment queries and liaise with internal teamsMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial dataAbout YouMinimum 2 years'' experience in an Accounts Assistant or Finance Administration roleStrong understanding of Accounts Receivable processesHigh attention to detail with excellent numerical accuracyConfident using financial systems and ExcelOrganised, able to meet deadlines, and work both independently and as part of a teamStrong communication skillsDesirable:Experience in high-volume environmentsStudying towards AAT or similar ..... full job details .....
