Job Title: Accounts Administrator Location: Insert Location Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm Pay Rate: £13.50 - £14.00 per hour (DOE) About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join a busy, friendly team in a well-established company. This varied role combines core accounts responsibilities with general admin support, and plays a key part in keeping things running smoothly day to day. Key Responsibilities: Accounts and Payroll: Process weekly/monthly payroll accurately and on time Maintain payroll records and liaise with HMRC as needed Handle purchase ledger duties - matching, batching and coding invoices Send out customer invoices and assist with credit control where required Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end reporting Administrative Support: General office admin including filing, data entry, and document management Answer incoming phone calls and direct to the appropriate person Liaise with suppliers and customers regarding invoice/payment queries Support other departments with administrative tasks as needed Requirements: Previous experience in an accounts/admin role (ideally with payroll and purchase ledger exposure) Strong attention to detail and good numeracy skills Proficient with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks - depending on what you use) Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and working to deadlines Friendly and professional phone manner Ideal for someone who is: ..... full job details .....
