Accounts Administrator- hybrid

Sheridan Maine are working exclusively with a reputable business based in Thatcham who are currently recruiting an Accounts Administrator to join their friendly finance team on a temp to perm basis.
Candidates being considered will have some prior finance experience or looking to make their first career move in to the accounting world.
The successful candidate will have the chance to be involved in a range of activities, which will include:

• Processing purchase ledger invoices
• Handling supplier payment queries
• Bank reconciliations
• Financial reporting
• Updating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets
• Assisting with VAT returns
• Preparing payments

 
Our client is looking for an individual who is enthusiastic and willing to learn.  You must be good working with numbers, have an eye for detail as well as excellent communication skills. A competent level of IT skills with prior experience of using Excel is essential. AAT study support is offered by the company if required.
