Entry-Level Accounts Administrator – Glasgow
Location: Glasgow
Salary: circa £25k
Are you looking to start your career in finance£ My client, a well-established business based in Glasgow, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual for an Entry-Level Accounts Assistant position.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has recently completed an HND or degree in Accounting or Finance and is eager to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process purchase ledger invoices accurately and efficiently
- Manage and maintain the finance mailbox, ensuring queries are handled promptly
- Deal with supplier queries in a professional and timely manner
- Perform supplier statement reconciliations
- Provide general administrative support to the finance team
About You:
- Recently completed an HND or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Ideally, you will have some previous work experience in a finance or administrative role (internship, placement, or similar)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with great attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
