Accounts Administrator

We’re currently working with a professional business based in Burford, who are looking to appoint an Accounts Administrator to join their growing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated individual keen to gain hands-on experience in a finance function .

Key responsibilities include:

• Responding to broker queries via phone and email, and directing them to the appropriate teams
• Monitoring the accounts inbox and ensuring timely responses
• Posting incoming broker payments and performing daily reconciliations
• Processing daily claims payments and managing associated queries
• Following up on outstanding payments and assisting with debt collection
• Communicating with brokers to resolve payment discrepancies
• Supporting the Management Accountant and Financial Controller with ad hoc tasks

The ideal candidate will have:

• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn

We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and has a strong eye for detail. You’ll be a confident communicator and have the ability to manage your workload accurately and efficiently.
