Location: Brentwood, Essex
We''re supporting a reputable business in their search for a full-time Accounts Administrator to join their finance team. This role is based on-site in Brentwood and offers a great opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations.
About the Role: You''ll be responsible for managing incoming invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and supporting weekly payment processes. The role also involves liaising with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries and ensure records are kept up to date.
Key Duties:
- Organising and preparing purchase invoices for validation and processing
- Matching invoices to purchase orders using internal systems (Sage200)
- Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies with suppliers and internal departments
- Assisting with weekly subcontractor payments and handling related queries
- Reconciling supplier statements and identifying any inconsistencies
- Supporting general inbox management and administrative tasks within the finance team
What We''re Looking For:
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities
- Ability to manage workload independently and prioritise effectively
- Familiarity with Sage200 is a plus, but training will be provided
