Accounts Administrator required to work with a government department. This is an initial 6 month contract, paying 130 per day, inside IR35, hybrid working (offices in Newcastle). Key accountabilities and responsibilitiesWork as part of a team to deal with post, manage shared mailboxes and respond to telephone enquiries received from internal and external customers, ensuring a satisfactory resolution within agreed timescales, delivering a 1st class service every time.Validate and create all new supplier/ customer records and action amendments.Process high volume financial transactions and data within deadlines and in accordance with financial controls, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Validate finance codes in line with the Homes England Chart of Accounts and process Purchase Orders and Sales Invoices, ensuring correct approvals and controls are in place.Process daily payment runs for multiple ledgers, balancing ledgers to ensure accuracy.Prepare, ..... full job details .....
