Due to continued growth, our client – a highly regarded commercial insurance brokerage – is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join their driven and professional team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of clients, provide expert insurance solutions, and play a key part in the business’s ongoing success.
The role:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial insurance clients across multiple sectors.
- Act as the primary point of contact, providing expert advice and ensuring client needs are met promptly and effectively.
- Build long-term relationships through regular reviews, renewals, and proactive account management.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of warm leads, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling.
- Liaise with underwriters to negotiate competitive terms and deliver tailored solutions.
- Keep up to date with industry developments, competitor activity, and regulatory changes.
- Accurately maintain client records on bespoke CRM and ensure compliance with FCA guidelines.
The Candidate:
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in commercial insurance account handling or account management.
- Cert CII qualification desirable (or willing to work towards).
- Proven ability to meet and exceed income and retention targets.
- Excellent communicator with strong client relationship skills.
- Commercially astute with the ability to identify and convert business opportunities.
In Return:
- Basic salary £35,000 - £40,000 OTE £58,000.
