Direct message the job poster from MI SelectThis is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a global NGO which advises world leading Philanthropic organisations.Our client is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the establishment and management of their financial operations in the United Kingdom. This is a unique opportunity to be the first in-country finance and operations hire for their UK entity, playing a pivotal role in building the infrastructure to support accounting, payroll, HR, and other processes as they expand internationally from our headquarters in the US.ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day internal controls and operations, leading UK-based accounting processes.Review and issue timely client financial statements with analysis to ensure accurate information has been recorded and reported to clients and stakeholders.Manage client cash flow, banking relationships, investment accounts, audit and tax processes.Develop and manage annual budget and cash forecasting system for clients.Support development of annual organizational budget, consolidating client financials for aggregate reporting.Lead the audit, statutory reporting, and tax compliance process for U.K. entities in coordination with external auditors and tax advisors.QualificationsChartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including management responsibilities.Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, statutory reporting, and local tax regulations.Experience establishing or scaling finance/operations functions in the UK is highly desirable.Demonstrated ability to manage audits, budgets, and cash forecasting.Understanding of donor grant agreements, grant management, and restricted grant accountingStrong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.Comfortable working in a start-up or high-growth environment where you will build new systems and processes from the ground up.Knowledge of banking cash management systems, QuickBooks Online and/or NetSuite ..... full job details .....
