Reporting To: Finance Manager We are currently recruiting for an Accountant to join our finance team based in our Head Office in Fenton Stoke-On-Trent. This diverse role is integral to the finance team and offers a great opportunity to be involved in all aspects. You will work closely with the finance manager and other key business stake holders. You will deliver financial information to support decision making in the business. Work to contribute to a strong financial control culture within the business. Build long standing cross functional relationships: identify internal customer requirements, challenge constructively and ensure professional objectivity. Responsibilities for the role: • All month-end processes and the production of accurate monthly management accounts.• Reporting and explaining significant deviations between actual results and budget.• Reconciliation and analysis of Balance Sheet accounts and Trial Balance monthly.• Ensure HMRC Compliance - VAT Returns and PAYE liabilities are submitted and paid on time.• Cashflow forecasting and management.• Reconciliation of Invoice Discounting Facility.• Supporting the Finance Manager in the day-to-day management of the Team.• Act as business ..... full job details .....
