Accountant

Accounts Senior Location: Holmfirth / Huddersfield Salary: £35,000-£40,000 DOE A growing accountancy practice is looking for an experienced Accounts Senior to join its team. This is a varied role with a strong focus on client service, career development and progression. The Role You''ll work with a diverse portfolio of clients, providing support across accounts, tax and general accounting services. Key responsibilities include: • Preparing year-end statutory accounts • Preparing corporation and personal tax returns • Bookkeeping and VAT returns • Supporting and training junior team members • Assisting with ad hoc accounting and client projects • Building strong client relationships and providing a high level of service About You • 5+ years'' accountancy practice experience • AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified • Strong experience preparing year-end accounts • Confident and professional when dealing with clients • Friendly, proactive and commercially minded • Good communication and organisational skills • Experience with IRIS, Sage, Xero or QuickBooks would be advantageous • GCSE English and Maths at Grade 5 or above Benefits • £30,000-£40,000 salary, depending on experience • Excellent career progression and structured development • Study support and mentoring • Pay progression for exam success • Above-average annual leave • Birthday day off and additional service-based leave • Flexible working hours • Early finish on Fridays • Free parking • Bupa cash plan • Company pension • ..... full job details .....
