Client Accountant (AAT) £31,032 - £36,653 per annum Full Time Grimsby (Office-Based) We are currently supporting a well-regarded and forward-thinking firm as they recruit for a Client Accountant to join their growing team. This role offers a different approach to a traditional accounts position, combining core compliance work with a strong focus on client interaction, advisory support, and business development. The Role The successful candidate will manage a varied portfolio while delivering both compliance services and value-added advisory support, working closely with clients throughout their financial year. Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of clients including limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, and individuals Prepare and oversee year-end accounts, tax returns, bookkeeping, and VAT work Provide proactive business advisory and development support to clients Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a main point of contact Keep clients informed on progress across all areas of service delivery Review work completed by team members to ensure high standards are met Support, develop, and motivate junior staff members Identify opportunities to introduce additional services based on client needs About the Candidate Skills, Qualifications and Experience: AAT Level 4 qualified (minimum requirement) Experience within a general practice environment, supporting owner-managed businesses Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and taxation ..... full job details .....
