Accountant (part time)Salary: 300 - 325 per dayLocation: HeywoodDuration: 6 months contract but likely to be extended (3 days per week) Sellick Partnership has been engaged on an exclusive basis to recruit an Accountant (3 days per week) for a profitable SME FMCG wholesale provider based in Heywood. We are looking to recruit a hands on Accountant who will be tasked to produce the full management accounts and KPIs, budgeting, balance sheet and PandL reporting and the provision of other financial information. You will act as a trusted advisor to the business working alongside the owner, producing and interpreting data, to inform and ultimately to help drive the operational performance of the business. The successful applicant will be a qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA or CIMA) or QBE coming from a similar broad role within an SME business as you will be responsible for all aspects of the financial management accounts. Property experience would also be ideal as there would be a requirement (half a day per week) to complete the accounts for the property side of the business. You will need to have a full understanding of all aspects of financial controls, production of management accounts, budgets, variance analysis, PandL analysis, cashflow forecasting, transactional duties; overseeing purchase and sales ledger, credit control, bank reconciliations and payments.
