Accountant - Romanian Speaking

Our client based in Middlesex are currently seeking a Romanian-speaking Client Accountant to manage client accounts, VAT, and tax matters.

This role offers the chance to work closely with a diverse client base, supporting them with their accounting and tax needs while building long-term professional relationships. You''ll be part of a collaborative team with access to ongoing training and career progression.

As a Client Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Act as a main point of contact for clients, handling queries related to tax and accounts
• Prepare accounts up to Trial Balance for handover to the finalisation team
• Build and maintain strong, professional client relationships
• Liaise with HMRC when needed, including reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
• Ensure all client data is complete, accurate, and up to date
• Prepare and submit VAT returns

What We''re Looking For:

• Previous experience in an accounting role
• Fluent in both Romanian and English
• Up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation and accounting practices
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• A proactive mindset with the ability to manage client relationships effectively
