Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation, review and finalisation of monthly and quarterly management accountsSupporting year-end close processes, including liaison with external auditors where requiredManaging day-to-day client relationships, responding to accounting and compliance queries in a timely and professional mannerWorking with the team across UK and UAEHands on bookkeeping and reviewing of work and ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal standardsAssisting with internal reporting, workflow management, and technology-driven continuous improvement initiativesAssisting with UK VAT and Corporate Tax compliance requirementsProviding guidance and oversight to junior team members where requiredCandidate ProfilePractical accounting experienceStrong hands-on bookkeeping experienceUnderstanding of IFRS / IFRS for SMEsExposure to UK GAAP is advantageousExperience preparing management accounts and statutory accountsConfident using cloud-based accounting systems (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero, Sage)Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysisPractical experience with automation tools and/or AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency, reporting, or data handlingAbility to identify manual or inefficient processes and propose smarter, scalable solutionsStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesFluent in English (written and spoken) with strong client-facing communication skillsExperience working with ..... full job details .....
