The role will involve managing a portfolio of clients, preparing statutory accounts and tax returns, and supporting clients with their accounting and compliance requirements.This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant, or an experienced practice-trained accountant, looking to develop their technical skills and progress within a supportive professional environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnershipsPreparation and submission of corporation tax and personal tax returnsManaging a portfolio of clients and acting as a point of contact for day-to-day queriesReviewing bookkeeping records and preparing year-end journalsPreparing management accounts where requiredLiaising with clients to gather information and resolve queries efficientlySupporting junior staff with technical queries and workload management as requiredEnsuring work is completed in line with accounting standards and internal proceduresMeeting deadlines and maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detailPerson SpecificationEssential:Previous experience working in an accountancy practiceAAT qualified, ..... full job details .....
