Bookkeeper/AccountantSittingbourne, Kent From £20.00 per hour 18-21 hours per weekReed Accountancy are delighted to be recruiting for a Part-Time Senior Bookkeeper on behalf of a well-established logistics business based in Sittingbourne.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a successful and growing SME. Working closely with the Managing Director, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate financial records, maintaining compliance, and providing valuable financial insight to support business decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging all day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including sales ledger, purchase ledger and general ledger maintenance.Preparing and submitting VAT returns.Producing monthly management accounts and assisting with year-end accounts preparation.Maintaining accurate financial records using Sage 50.Monitoring cash flow and managing customer credit terms.Running monthly profitability analysis and ensuring accurate invoicing procedures.Processing payroll and ensuring compliance with relevant tax and statutory requirements.Liaising closely with the Managing Director on financial and commercial matters.Supporting and mentoring junior team members where required.Reconciling bank accounts and maintaining accurate financial controls.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will possess:A minimum of 10 years'' bookkeeping and accounting experience.At least 5 years'' experience using ..... full job details .....
