Accountant Recruitment Consultancy London Hybrid - 35-40k A recruitment agency is looking for a capable and meticulous Accountant to join their Finance team. This is an exciting role for someone with prior experience in a recruitment business. What you''ll do: Posting and reconciling: sales and purchase ledgers, bank recs and control accounts Supporting the preparation and checking of both payroll runs Supporting the Finance Manager with drawdowns and reconciliation Supporting month-end: journals, accruals, prepayments and the management accounts What you''ll need: 2+ years experience in a recruitment or freelance contract business Strong attention to detail and accuracy A good grasp of recruitment cycle (timesheets, billing, contractor payroll, margins) Good working knowledge of Excel/spreadsheets and Xero Accurate and organised under pressure Due to the high number of applicants we receive, we are only able to contact those most relevant to the role.
