This is a hands-on role supporting a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors, delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a busy practice environment and enjoy building strong client relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of SME clients, acting as their main point of contactPrepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companiesComplete corporation tax returns, personal tax returns, and VAT submissionsHandle bookkeeping and management accounts as requiredSupport clients with queries around accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)Assist with payroll processing when neededReview work prepared by junior team members and provide guidanceEnsure compliance with relevant accounting standards and HMRC regulationsContribute to process improvements and support the wider practice teamSkills and Experience RequiredPrevious experience working within an accountancy practice (essential)ACCA/ACA qualified or part-qualified, or qualified by experienceStrong knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax requirementsConfident preparing accounts from incomplete ..... full job details .....
