Accountant Bury Full Time or Part Time Hybrid WorkingWe are working with a growing accounting practice based in Bury that is looking to bring an experienced and client focused Accountant into their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in building lasting client relationships and is passionate about accounting and finance.The RoleYou will take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients spanning small and medium sized businesses, sole traders and partnerships across multiple sectors. As the main point of contact for your clients, your responsibilities will include:Managing all accounting and financial matters across your client portfolioPreparing year end financial statements including profit and loss, balance sheets and cash flow statementsMaintaining accurate financial records and generating periodic reportsPreparing and submitting VAT returns, corporation tax and personal tax filingsProviding strategic advice on tax planning, budgeting and cash flowHandling HMRC queries and ensuring clients remain compliantOverseeing payroll processing and regulatory complianceSupporting clients with Xero and QuickBooks set ups and software trainingAssisting with internal and external audit preparation and documentationMentoring junior members of the team and supporting their developmentWhat We Are Looking ForAAT Level 4 qualified as a minimum, or ACA, ACCA or CIMA equivalentAt least three years of experience working within an accounting practiceStrong working ..... full job details .....
