Qualified / Part-Qualified Accountant - Temporary ContractLocation: Daventry, UK Contract: 3 months Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote The RoleWe are recruiting for a Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant to join a well-established finance team based at our clients UK Logistics Centre in Daventry. This is a temporary 3-month assignment, offering a hybrid working pattern.The roleSupport a range of financial accounting, reporting and month-end activities, including:Lease accounting and quarterly audit supportPayroll journals, reconciliations and reportingMonthly and quarterly corporate reportingPSA return preparation and PII variance analysisMonth-end close and Balance Sheet reviewsAnnual Tax Pack preparation for Daventry and KentFinancial analysis, variance investigation and internal controlsEnsuring compliance with relevant financial and tax regulationsAbout YouQualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Degree/qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related fieldStrong financial accounting and reporting experienceGood Excel skills are essentialStrong analytical and communication skillsExperience with Oracle, Power BI or Power Query would be advantageous but is not essentialAble to work independently and manage deadlines effectively New Appointments Group, Expertly Matching Employers and Jobseekers since 1975.Before submitting your CV, please take a moment to check the layout, spelling, and grammar.
