Accountant Location: Belfast Hours: Full-time Salary: £24.45 per hour Contract: Temporary About the Role: MPA Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Accountant on behalf of our client. This is an excellent opportunity for a professionally qualified accountant to join a busy finance team and play a key role in delivering accurate financial accounting, reporting and governance activities. The successful candidate will support senior finance colleagues across areas including annual accounts preparation, financial reporting, reconciliations, audit, financial controls and stakeholder management. The role would suit an experienced finance professional who is confident working with complex financial information and operating within established governance and regulatory frameworks. Key Responsibilities: Support the preparation and delivery of annual financial accounts and associated financial reporting. Prepare financial returns and reports accurately and within required deadlines. Maintain effective financial control frameworks and ensure timely reconciliation of control accounts. Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including fixed asset and capital accounting information where required. Work closely with internal finance functions and shared service providers to ensure efficient financial processes. Provide technical accounting support and advice to colleagues and stakeholders.
