This role is based in a professional services organisation located in Brighton.

Description

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Analyse financial data to support decision-making processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
• Provide financial advice and insights to stakeholders.

Profile

A successful Accountant should have:

• A recognised accounting qualification (ACA or CIMA)
• post qualification experience (2-3 years)
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to analyse financial data and present clear insights.
• Effective communication skills for working with stakeholders
