Accountant

Role: Accountant Location: Haverhill Salary: 40-50kWe are seeking an Accountant to join our team who will manage the day-to-dayaccounting activities of the UK entity and maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-datefinancial records. The role covers the full accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, month end closing, VAT compliance, management reporting, and statutory accounting requirements. The Accountant will independently manage the accounting activities of the UK entity, with guidance, oversight, and support from the Head Office Finance Team.Responsibilities: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. Perform bank, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliations. Prepare monthly journals, accruals, prepayments, provisions, depreciation, and other accounting adjustments. Manage the month end and year-end closing process. Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with HMRC requirements. Support corporation tax compliance and provide required information to external tax advisors. Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors. Monitor cash balances, bank transactions, and working capital. Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliations. Ensure all accounting records are properly documented and supported.
