An established and growing accountancy practice in Hereford is seeking a motivated General Practice Accountant to join their friendly, professional team. The position offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to build long-term client relationships.Key responsibilities include:Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companiesProducing management accounts and supporting clients with regular financial reportingHandling corporate and personal tax returnsProviding day-to-day advice to clients on accounting, tax, and business mattersAssisting with bookkeeping and VAT returns where requiredSupporting junior team members and reviewing their workEnsuring all work is completed accurately and within agreed timescalesAbout YouWe''re looking for someone who is proactive, commercially aware, and confident communicating with clients at all levels.The ideal candidate will have:ACA, ACCA, AAT qualification (or equivalent experience)Previous practice experience within a generalist roleStrong knowledge of accounting standards and tax requirementsExperience with cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlinesA ..... full job details .....
