Your new company Hays Accountancy and Finance are working with our client, a leading charity organisation in Northern Ireland, who are seeking an experienced Accountant to support their finance function during a busy period. This organisation delivers vital services that support individuals, families, and communities across a range of social programmes.Due to an urgent requirement, our client is looking to appoint a skilled Accountant on a temporary basis to provide immediate support to the finance team. This is a hands-on role, offering hybrid working and the opportunity to contribute to a highly impactful organisation during a critical period.Your new role Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reportsPerform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial dataAssist in budgeting and forecasting processesMaintain and monitor financial transactions across multiple cost centresProvide support during audit preparation and compliance activitiesEnsure adherence to internal financial controls and proceduresAssist with system and process improvements where requiredWork closely with internal stakeholders to support operational finance needsWhat you''ll need to succeed Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)Proven experience in a similar accounting role, ideally within a fast-paced environmentStrong knowledge of management accounts and reconciliationsExcellent Excel skills and ability to work with financial dataWhat you''ll get in return ..... full job details .....
