Accountant

We''re working with an established not-for-profit organisation to recruit an Accountant. This is a broad role offering exposure across management and financial accounting, business partnering, fixed assets and year-end reporting. It''s an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, supporting operational teams and working for an organisation that has a positive impact on the communities it serves.Key responsibilities Partner with operational teams, providing financial reports, analysis and constructive challenge to support decision-makingSupport budget holders with budgeting, forecasting and financial monitoringAssist with the year-end process, including audit preparation and statutory reportingMaintain the fixed asset register, ensuring additions, disposals and depreciation are accurately recordedPrepare VAT returns and support wider financial compliance activitiesProduce balance sheet reconciliations and support the month-end close processContribute to continuous improvements in financial processes and controls About you CCAB qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Experience preparing financial statements and supporting the year-end processPrevious business partnering experience with non-finance stakeholdersStrong reconciliation and financial reporting skills What s on offer Salary: £60,000 per annumFull-time, permanent contractLocation: Central LondonHybrid working (3 days in the office per week) This vacancy will be actively ..... full job details .....
